Tracie Calder Scruggs

Tracie Calder Scruggs 47 of Gastonia was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 2, 2023. Tracie was born on October 25, 1976 in Wilmington NC. Tracie enjoyed spending time at the beach any chance she got. Tracie was always known for how she presented herself, she was “Bougie”, and always had a smile on her face. All of her loved ones that she has left behind will miss her dearly, for she was taken way too soon. Tracie was a Mama’s girl and she is now joyfully proceeded in death by her Mother Phyllis Ann Cannon and her Father Charles Henry Calder.Those left to cherish her memory include, her Beloved wife Christy Scruggs, Brother Charles Caulder, Sister in law Shawn Scruggs, Loving Aunt Inky Smith, and cousins Alicia Williams and daughter Ashlan, and Lisa Maynor, several nieces and nephews, her life long Besties Amber Ganey and Candice Chinnis, and her best friend “Fancy” her Chihuahua. Join the family at the home of Tracie and Christy at 1528 Lamb Drive In Gastonia NC for a Celebration of Life for Tracy on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at high noon.
