Patricia Anne “Trisha” Boggs
On September 23, 2026, Patricia Anne “Trisha” Boggs peacefully entered the arms of Jesus, where it is well with her soul.
Trisha was born on October 15, 1949, in Lincolnton, North Carolina, to Johnnie and Carole Boggs.
Trisha was a proud graduate of Lincolnton High School, Class of 1967. She held positions in manufacturing, laboratory work, childcare, and accounting before retiring from American Tire Distributors in Huntersville, NC.
Trisha’s greatest joy was the people she loved. Her family was the center of her heart, and she treasured every opportunity to be together. She had a gift for making family gatherings beautiful and special, from the traditional recipes and dishes she was known for, including her desserts, to the thoughtful touches she added to the decorations for every celebration.
She was everyone’s biggest cheerleader—the one who encouraged, supported, celebrated, and believed in the people she loved.
Trisha loved sunflowers and owls, trips to the beach and mountains, music, shopping, playing bingo, and proudly cheering for her beloved North Carolina Tar Heels.
Her love extended far beyond her immediate family. It also extended to her cherished family at Emanuel Reformed Church where she was a life long member, as well to her Mount Hope Church family, her extended family, her friends, and the many people she worked with throughout her life.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Micheal Boggs of Lincolnton, NC; her granddaughter, Taylor Boggs (Nick) of Lexington, NC; her great-grandson, Beckett Burge of Lexington, NC; her mother, Carole Boggs of Lincolnton, NC; her sister, Diane Rippy of Gastonia, NC; her niece, Dawn Rippy Brunton (Roger) of Kings Mountain, NC; her brother, Johnny Boggs (Cathy) of Salisbury, NC; her niece, Rebecca Sowri (Anthony) of Florida, and her great-nieces, Ellora and Nalina of Florida; and her BBFFC cousins and many other cousins.
She also leaves behind cherished friends whom she lovingly considered sisters, women whose friendships became family and held a special place in her heart.
Trisha loved her dog, Ollie, and enjoyed the companionship he brought to her life.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday October 2, 2026 at Emanuel Reformed Church located at 329 E Main St, Lincolnton just across from the post office. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm.
The service will be officiated by Reverend Dr. Johnny Boggs Jr. and Reverend Michael Baldonado.
The family would like to offer their special appreciation of the providers and staff of Atrium Health Lincoln for the loving care given to Trisha.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emma Rose Treasures, a newly established nonprofit founded by Trisha’s niece, Dawn Rippy Brunton, to support and encourage those affected by cancer. Emma Rose Treasures was especially close to Trisha’s heart, as she was deeply proud of Dawn and her desire to make a difference for others facing cancer.
