In Loving Memory of Judy Kay Bridges (February 10, 1958 - November 4, 2023)\n\nJudy Kay Bridges, born on February 10, 1958, in Kings Mountain, NC, was lovingly raised by her parents, Blanche Dellinger Bridges and Carl Bridges, both of whom she joined in eternal rest on November4th, 2023. Growing up, she shared her life's journey with her cherished twin brother, Billy Ray Bridges, in the embrace of a nurturing Christian home.\n\nAfter graduating from high school, Judy made a significant step by purchasing her first home in Shelby, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with purpose and joy. Her dedication to her work with the Copeland Corperation in Shleby spanned over two decades, a testament to her unwavering commitment and strong work ethic.\n\nJudy's family was at the center of her heart. As a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, she provided unwavering support, love, and wisdom to her family. Her warmth extended not only to her immediate family but also to her dear cousins and cherished friends.\n\nJudy's profound love for nature and animals reflected her tender spirit. She found solace and delight in the beauty of the natural world, sharing her love with creatures great and small.\n\nGuided by her deep faith in God, Judy faced life's challenges with grace and courage. Her faith served as an inspiration to those fortunate enough to know her.\n\nJudy is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents on both her mother's side, Elsie P. Dellinger and Charles Fredrick Dellinger, as well as her paternal grandparents, Benjamin R. Bridges and Pearl Bridges. She is also reunited with her great-niece, Ma'Kaydriauna Danielle Walden.\n\nJudy leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love for her surviving family members: her dear brother, Billy Ray Bridges; her nephew, Justin, and his family - his wife, Heather, and their son, John Bridges; her niece, Joany Walden, and her children - Kyland Emery Walden and Willie Jaí'Mere Moore; and a host of loving cousins.\n\nA funeral service to celebrate Judy's life will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Judy's Home in Kings Mountain. \n\nIn Judy's memory, the family kindly requests that any flowers be delivered to her home prior to the service.
