Alicia Kinley

Alicia Kinley, 42, passed away on February 22, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and countless memories that will continue to bring both tears and smiles.
Alicia found her greatest joy in simple, meaningful moments. She loved spending time with her family, especially cooking out and bringing everyone together. Time with her nieces and great-nieces meant the world to her, and she treasured every laugh, every hug, and every shared memory.

She enjoyed watching horror movies, listening to music, and simply having a good time with the people she cared about. Alicia had a special bond with her beloved dog, Leo. Whether going for walks or playing together, those moments brought her peace and happiness. She also enjoyed fishing, finding quiet comfort in the outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Andy Burnett.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Marlano Rogers; her daughter, Cadence Burnett; her son, Xavier Kinley; her husband, Gregory Kinley; her brothers, Daniel Burnett and James Caughron; her nieces, Abigail, Alora, Jessie, Aprillianna, Landon, Daniel, and Mason; and her two great-nieces, Syra and Dallas.

Alicia will be remembered for her love of family, her laughter, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her presence will be deeply missed but forever carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Alicia’s close family and friends will gather to share in her memory on February 28, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Rankin Lake in Gastonia, North Carolina.
